Acts of kindness arent random

Blessings to you saint, ope u're okay

"Wow! That was a close call!" "What a coincidence!" "That was really lucky!" We all witness miracles and wonders each day. Yet instead of recognizing God in the process, we chalk it up to fate, fortune, or happenstance. How wrong we are! How oblivious we are to God's handling of the details in our lives!

"Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit said to them: 'Rulers and elders of the people! If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a cripple and are asked how he was healed, then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.'" (Acts 4:8-10). Peter is right! His act of kindness was not random nor was it an accident! It is a supernatural healing in the name of Jesus. It is by the kindness of our Lord that we can witness such a miracle.

We can witness and actually perform acts of kindness in the name of Jesus today! We all have within us the power of the Holy Spirit, if we are followers of Jesus. We are each capable of experiencing the acts of kindness that Jesus calls us to do! It's not us. It's not up to us! But it is our responsibility to call upon the name of Jesus in everything we say and do. It is our privilege to use the name of Jesus to live our lives for Him, blessed and being a blessing to those around us, now and forever!

Until next time, have a blessed day,

Recipe For The New Year.

Recipe For The New Year.

Take twelve, fine, full-grown months, see that theseare thoroughly free from all old memories of bitterness, rancor, hate and jealousy; cleanse them completely from every clinging spite: pick off allspecks of pettiness and littleness; in short, see that these months are freed from all the past; have them as fresh and clean as when they first came from the great storehouse of Time.Cut these months into thirty or thirty-one equal parts

This batch will keep for just one year. Do not attempt to make up the whole batch at one time (so many persons spoil the entire lot in this way), but prepare one day at a time, as follows:Into each day put twelve parts of faith, eleven of patience, ten of courage, nine of work (some people omit this ingredient and so spoil the flavor of the rest), eight of hope, seven of fidelity, six of liberality, five of kindness, four of rest (leaving this out is like leaving the oil out of the salad, don't do it), three of prayer, two of meditation, and one well selected resolution.

If you have no conscientious scruples, put in about a teaspoonful of good spirits, a dash of fun, a pinch of folly, a sprinkling of play, and a heaping cupful of good humor. Pour into the whole love add and mix with a vim. Cook thoroughly in a fervent heat; garnish with a fewsmiles and a sprig of joy; then serve with quietness, unselfishness, and cheerfulness, and a Happy New Year is certain.

Wishing you a Happy New Year, where your needs and wishes match one another.

Best regards

mountains and hills

Hullo Saint,
greetings in the name of our saviour and sustainer.

I don't know much about military strategy, but it makes sense that mountains and hillsides give us better perspectives than just plain flat surfaces or looking up from below (like in the valleys). The hillsides can give a better lay of the land view and perhaps a strategic way to overcome the troubles brewing in the lands below."I lift my eyes to the hills -- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." (Psalm 121:1-2). When troubles brew, it seems that they are not in lofty places. For some reason, we can get into more trouble on low grounds where there are dips and crevices to find trouble! Sometime we can be looking for trouble but often it just comes to us, and we may feel hopelessly down in the dumps. We naturally turn towards help, and it must be instinctive that we look up, up to the hills. It's wonderful to know that help is on the way when we are troubled and laying low to the ground. It's even better to know that our help is not just another person, or even the strong person we can think of. No. Our help is God Himself, the One who created both heaven and earth. With help like that, who needs to worry any longer? God wants us to know that He doesn't want us to be in trouble or down in the dumps. But He wants to assure us now and forever that whenever we do need help, He will be there for us. All we need to do is look up to those hills of love and grace, and there He will be!Until next time, have a blessed day,

Robert Grace

About face

Beloved,

When we have an encounter with Jesus, we are never the same as before. Not only do we feel different, we also act differently! The encounter leaves us totally changed. It is as if we had been struggling to march uphill (on our own power) and suddenly, we find the road going downhill, as if we did an about face! Luke 19:8-10 "But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, 'Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.' Jesus said to him, 'Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.'" Jesus does a miracle in our lives when we are struggling and miserable and feeling alone, like Zacchaeus was. The miracle is always twofold: we are confident of our salvation and eternal life with Him, and we act differently towards God and towards others. The change is visible -- in our faces, our demeanor, even our walk. The change is actual -- in our choices, our relationships, and our actions. Why is it we wait? Why is it we live our lives without Him when we could have joy and hope and love every single day of our existence! Let's do an about face, like Zacchaeus, and see how easy it is to have Jesus is our hearts and lives, 24/7, now and forever!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Beloved, praise Jesus.Am certain u're okay.

Don't spend major time with minor people. If there are people in your life that continually disappoint you, break promises, stomp on your dreams, too judgmental, have different values and don't have your back during difficult times...that is not a friend.

To have a friend, be a friend. Sometimes in life as you grow, your friends will either grow or go. Surround yourself with people who reflect values, goals interests and lifestyle.

When I think of any of my successes, I am thankful to GOD
from whom all blessings flow, and to my family and friends that enrich my life.

Over the years my phone book has changed because I changed for the better.
At first you think you're going to be alone, but after a while new people show up in your life that make your life so much sweeter and easier to endure.

Remember what your elders used to say, "Birds of same feather flock
together. If you're an eagle, don't hang around chickens: Chickens Can’t Fly!

I love the Lord and thank Him for all that he does in my life, therefore, I'm passing this on. Yes I do love Jesus. He is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and everyday. Without Him, I will be nothing. Without Him, I am nothing but with Him I can do all
things. Phil 4:13

Be Positive,Be Progressive - Take the time to make a positive difference in someone's life.

Walk by faith
Not by sight
Receive God's blessings

Unfailing love

Beloved,
Grace and mercy abound to u.Howz life and all that you endaevour to work on.Am certain it's well with your soul.

When cats stalk their prey, they concentrate intensely. Their tails may twitch nervously, but they silently plan their plan of attack. The only defense the victim has is its ability to fly away. When the victims are too young to fly away, however, only the mother bird can protect its offspring in the shadow of her wings."How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light." (Psalm 36:7-9). God loves us so much that He will protect us from predators in the shadow of His wings. Though mother birds may sometimes fail in their protection of young, God never fails! God's love is always there for us! And because God loves us so much, He provides all the necessities of life that we normally do pay for -- food in abundance, drinks that delight. How priceless is that! The shadow of His wings provides the light of life.We are the birds of the Lord's flock. We may be stalked by predators who seem relentless. We may feel attacked on all sides, but we needn't fear or cower in the shadows. God's protection allows us rejoicing and delighting in Him. God's love gives us abundance and assurance that is priceless. We can't pay for it. Jesus already did on the cross. All we need do is come to Him, with joyful abandon to see the light of life today and forever!Until next time, make it a blessed day,With love,

Growing with God

Beloved,
Greetings in the name of He who lives forever.Am certain your day is refreshing.

Harvest time is such a visual reminder of God's goodness. The orchards around us are full of trees, heavy with ripening fruit. The fruit stands nearby have lots of fresh produce, and we can just taste the sweetness and smell the delicious fragrance of ripened fruit! What a beautiful way to enjoy God's blessings!"But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering, produce a crop." (Luke 8:15). Jesus is giving us the example of how we are to grow with God. Just like the ripening fruit with its sweetness of taste and smell, our productivity from God's Word should also be evident in how sweet we look and smell (and it's not just deodorant!). We need to start with hearts that are noble and good -- that means repenting and asking God for forgiveness and getting a brand new start! Then we need to hear God's Word and retain it and persevere with it. It's not an instantaneous process! It involves our intentional digesting of God's Word, not just tasting. It involves our intentional living out of God's Word. Once a week for an hour in church doesn't quite cut it.We often get to the hearing part of God's Word and skip the other two steps. But those are the critical ones! We need to keep watered and nurtured in God's Word, just like the trees in the orchard. We need to make retaining and persevering a natural process: seeing God's Word in everyday life, each moment, each second! God is speaking to us and is with us all the time, 24/7! He is watching us develop that sweet taste, that sweet smell, and the ripeness of our hearts is delighting Him as we grow closer and closer to Him daily and forever!Until next time, have a blessed day,
with love,
